Walvoord Education is based upon a three-fold ideal—an ideal which involves the physical, intellectual and the spiritual. Realization of these ideals in striving toward an always-distant goal, is the aim of education. Delta Sigma Nu, an honorary scholastic fraternity, founded in May, 1918, realizes as its aim the true ideal of education. It exists to uphold the ideals of scholarship and to encourage high standards of scholastic attainment. Elections are made on the basis of scholarship with due consideration to the activities of student life which tend toward the broadening and strengthening of the individual. A number of Seniors, not to exceed one-fourth of the class, are elected to active membership, while two from the Junior Class are elected to associate membership. The elections are made six weeks after the close of the first semester. Page Seventy-Two
