Intramural Athletics The intramural program, under the leader¬ ship of Chuck Heyer, featured closely con¬ tested events in all departments of play. The program was widened this year featuring two leagues in touch football and basketball. The Tekes again proved their supremacy in intramural competition by getting an ear¬ ly lead in points toward the Supremacy Cup. If the Tekes win again this year it will be their second year in a row. They gained their early lead in winning touch football, volley- f i^ ft fl ifiTw^ bal, basketball, and bowling. The Phi Thetes captured the ping pong title. The Sig Eps are closest to the Tekes by finishing second in the above events. Other sports offered on the intramural pro¬ gram are badminton, dartball, baseball, track, horseshoes, tennis, and track. In the second team league the Nashotah boys captured first place in touch football and the Independents won the title in basketball. ',^'- 87
